A Tourist Day Ticket is a valid ticket for travel with public transport network. We offer two options:

Should I buy an OV-chipcard (a card which I can charge), or is it better to travel with a Tourist Day Ticket or a regional ticket?

If you are planning to visit Rotterdam and other cities, for example The Hague, you could consider purchasing the Tourist Day Ticket for only €15,50. How many days is a Tourist Day Ticket valid?

The ticket is valid all day from the time you first check in until services stop running.

Can I travel by train with the Tourist Day Ticket?

No. You canot travel by train. You need to buy a separate ticket for this. You can use the Tourist Day Ticket for travel by buses, trams, metros and waterbus transport.

I would like to purchase a Tourist Day Ticket at the time I arrive. Is the valid period 24 hours from the first use? Or until the next day?

The ticket is valid all day from the time you first check in until services stop running.
