Taking the metro to Rotterdam Zoo? The price of travelling between your hotel and the park is often more than the price of the Tourist Day Ticket. This makes the Tourist Day Ticket ideal for tourists, because it enables you to travel without restrictions and saves you the hassle of buying tickets in every new vehicle. Taking the metro to Rotterdam Zoo is the quickest and most reliable way to get to the Blijdorp zoo, and by using the Tourist Day Ticket you'll save money at the same time!
The Tourist Day Ticket enables you to travel through the province of Zuid-Holland by bus, tram, metro and ferry for a day at a set price. The ticket is sold for €14,50 and is valid for an entire day from your first check-in to the end of that day's timetable. Do remember to always check in when entering and leaving the vehicle.
If you are travelling within one specific zone, the best option is to buy a day ticket from the transport operator concerned. But if you travel on the same day in different zones within the South Holland region, we recommend the Tourist Day Ticket.
The Tourist Day Ticket is for sale at the operators' service points and at participating hotels and tourist information associations.
